Tips on Preparing Chestnut Mushrooms
To prepare the chestnut mushrooms for this recipe, start by gently cleaning them with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Trim the ends of the stems if needed and slice them evenly for even cooking. Marinate the mushrooms with the butter and a medley of spices like cinnamon, salt, sugar, nutmeg, and black pepper to enhance their natural flavors. Ensure the grill is preheated to medium-high heat for optimal smokiness, and grill the mushrooms until they reach a delightful crisp texture, adding fresh rosemary leaves for a fragrant finish.
